Fairview Farms owners, Alan Jr. and his brother Brad, along with Alan's son, Jake, provide a wide variety of annual flowers such as cell trays, 4 and 5-inch pots, 10 and 12 inch hanging baskets, patio pots of assorted sizes, and specialty containers. Recently the farm has expanded to include wholesale greenhouse tomatoes twice a year: available approximately from May 1st through July 15th and October 15th through January 15th. All told, Fairview produces flowers and tomatoes in a greenhouse complex totaling 3.5 acres.
In light of the current situation, we at Fairview Farms will be implementing the following COVID-19 safety guidelines as recommended by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, in an effort to protect both our customers and employees during the 2020 season:
1.) A minimum of 6’ social distancing shall be maintained at all times.
2.) A face mask covering both nose and mouth must be worn at all times*.
3.) It is strongly recommended that latex gloves be worn at all times*.
4.) Please sanitize your hands prior to entering the greenhouses*.
5.) Customers will be limited to:
● 15 people at a time within the large greenhouse
● 3 people at a time within the small greenhouses
6.) To avoid handling coins, all sales after tax will be rounded to the nearest dollar.
*Note: A station for face masks, gloves, and hand sanitizer is available outside of the big greenhouse.
We thank you for your patience and support in implementing these guidelines and trust that this is the best way to help ‘stop the spread’. We look forward to seeing you in the greenhouses for the opening of the spring season, when we open 7 days a week from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, weather permitting.
